Nigerian man who went missing in the US
has been found dead
26 year old Nigerian-British man, Ademola Owolana, who lived in
London, went missing on Feb. 20th in the US after he went to a
club in Chicago with friends. (Read story here).
His body has now been found. A Metra worker found a man’s
body on top of an electric rail car yesterday Tuesday Feb. 23rd
afternoon at a repair yard in the West Pullman neighborhood on
the Far South Side. It looked like he'd been electrocuted. Power
was shut off in the yard so emergency crews could remove the
body, according to police. His family have confirmed it is indeed
his body.

The Federal Government today filed an 11 count charge against
former Minister of Interior, Abba Moro, and three others before
the Federal High Court, Abuja. The charges marked FHC/ABJ/
CR/42/2016, were filed by the EFCC on behalf of the Federal
government.
The charges include money laundering, obtaining money under
false pretext from prospective job applicants during the last
Immigration recruitment exercise.
Those joined in the suit as defendants are the ministry’s ex-
Permanent Secretary, Anastasia M. Daniel-Nwaobia, F. A.
Aleyebami and Drexel Global Technology Limited.

A Police officer identified as Abu Gani and two other people identified as Saidu Shehu, a father and his son Gambo, were electrocuted after a newly installed transformer malfunctioned and caused a power upsurge in Minna, the Niger State capital yesterday February 21st. There was a fire outbreak due to the power upsurge. The victims were rushed to the Minna General Hospital where they were confirmed dead...
