The 34-year-old mother of 2 interviewed with the magazine, below are some of the things she shared with the mag:

On not being into technology:

“Honestly, I still don’t use my computer. My kids use the computer more than I do! I understand that a lot of people are into it, and I have days where I write and stuff, but it’s really not for me. It’s not my thing.”

On haters:

“Whoever is in the spotlight, people are really quick to judge. I mean, there are a lot of kids coming up who’ve experienced that. It’s just the way the world works, unfortunately. I’ve been doing this for 20 years. I kind of don’t pay attention to it. I have my relationship with God and myself and that’s what matters to me. I really don’t care what most people think.”

The stunning media personality and Forbes Africa correspondent was voted Africa Broadcaster of the Year over the weekend in the 6^th edition of the Nigerian Broadcasters Merit Awards. By far the most hotly contested category was 'The African Broadcaster of the Year' female people’s choice category, which saw Ghana’s Peace Hyde emerge as the winner.

Voted as one of the top 50 most influential people in Ghana, Peace Hyde is the founder of a leading education and entrepreneurship brand, Aim Higher Africa for which she was recently awarded the 'Young CEO Global Leader' award. She has also been recently nominated for 'International Business Woman of the Year' and 'Business Woman of the year' categories in the prestigious Women 4 Africa award-taking place in May this year in London.

Deputy Governor of Lagos State, Dr. (Mrs.) Idiat Oluranti Adebule, today paid a visit to the Babington Macaulay Junior Seminary School, Ikorodu, where three female students were kidnapped on Monday evening. She was accompanied by other top government functionaries and the heads of security agencies in the state. She was reportedly in the school to share in the pains of the parents, and to equally assure them that the government would leave no stone unturned until the three girls are rescued alive.
