Promising and fast-rising Nollywood actress, Rachael Okonkwo (AKA Nkoli Nwa Nsukka) , is gradually becoming a household name but has all the trappings of a big star in the making: beauty, brains and the talent.In a bid to give back to the society, the movie starlet hosted over seven thousands of her fans for a free for all party on Easter Sunday at Onitsha.

Overwhelmed by the huge turnout of the show, the light skinned actress said, she never expected it. 

"I decided to do this Easter carnival in Onitsha this year because of the love people have for me, it's my own little way of giving back to the society, it's an Avenue for me to meet and interact with my fans because they made me who I am. It's by God's grace and their support and with sponsorship of these companies Tummy Tummy noodles, Aqua Rapha, Km company Ltd, Eforevo TV and Royal Edge celebration. I really do appreciate them all.”

She further added, 

"I did this same show last year in Enugu and it was star-studded too. However, I decided to extend the love outside my state and to the glory of God, people turned out in great numbers. The crowd was massive, more than seven thousand fans stormed out.

The Enugu Born ex dancer also affirmed that Nkoli Nwansukka's Easter Carnival has become an annual event.
In her words, 

"I’m so delighted that I was able to touch lives. The kids were entertained-they ate, drank and the lucky ones went home with souvenirs and school items. I could not provide for all because the crowd was massive but by his grace in my next year edition I will select three kids that I will place on scholarship.”

The Nkoli Nwa Nsukka star actress is popular for flicks like ‘Pinging Ladies’, ‘White Ladies’, ‘Agatha’, ‘Tears of Olamma’, ‘Open and Close’, ‘Marine Daughters’, ‘Blackberry Madness’, ‘Ekaette Goes To School’ among others.

I am happy that my trial at CCT has commenced- Saraki

Senate President,  Bukola Saraki has said he is glad that his trial before the Code of Conduct Tribunal on asset declaration in 2003 has finally commenced. His trial for alleged false declaration of assets while serving as the governor of Kwara state commenced at the CCT today April 5th. 

Saraki in a statement signed by his media aide Yusuph Olaniyonu, said the proceedings of today has given him confidence that if the trial is conducted fairly he would be vindicated. He said that even though the prosecution tried to bring in some dramatic narratives,  it was clear that they were merely thrashing around and hoping to titillate the public with salacious tales. He added that he was hopeful however that when the time comes, his lawyers will have the opportunity to present his case.

Tope Aluko denies reconciling with Fayose, calls him a master fraudster

Barely 24 hours after a video surfaced online of him addressing the press that all was well between himself and Fayose, the former Secretary of PDP in Ekiti state, Tope Aluko, says the meeting was stage managed and that he had to address the press to pretend that all was well for the safety of his wife. Aluko addressed a press conference in Lagos today April 5th 

“I need not recall the drama and face off that ensued between me and Fayose inside the meeting. It is worthy of note that it was at this point that my wife badged into the meeting to inform me of the presence of pressmen. At that point I became enraged and decided to leave the place but I noticed Governor Fayose rushing after me downstairs in a gestapo manner.

 My wife was already fidgeting and almost crying and suddenly I could not find her around me. I immediately realized that I need to oblige Governor Fayose’s instruction of the facing the press because of the safety of my family. I have earlier said before Nigerians and the whole world about the manipulation that characterized the 2014 governorship election in Ekiti State and still stand by all I said. You will also notice the several counter allegations by Fayose and his media team that none of them has refuted all I have said, rather the attack has been on the messenger and not the message. I will like to apologise to all Nigerians that perhaps, accepting the invitation was a tactical error. I will also like you to know that I am dealing with a master fraudster who is always full of mischief. You will allrecollect how he announced the purported death of Hon. AfolabiAkanni; the purported arrest of four members of the Ekiti State House of Assembly that later resurfaced. I need to emphasize that all that transpired at Eko Hotel on that faithful day was an organized propaganda/drama to stain my image and malign my personal integrity and I believe it would be a good script for Nollywood act” he said

Capital Oil commence 24 hours loading, promises to end fuel queues in the next few days

Consequently, Capital Oil has commenced massive 24hours loading in a bid to meet NNPC's target of eliminating fuel queues nationwide within the next few days.

We also wish to discourage Nigerians from panic buying and hoarding while calling on everyone to stop patronizing the activities of black marketers.
