The internet has been restless ever since Ticketmaster posted a sale for a joint Yeezy Season 3 and Waves premiere at Madison Square Garden. Everyone wondered if Kanye West really had something special for New York Fashion Week.
However,
it’s been confirmed to be true. The event will most likely fill the
stadium’s 18,200 seats, and will also be broadcasted live in several
theaters worldwide, which will increase the number of attendees and
watchers into the high five figures.
Meanwhile, the show’s invitations may offer some insight to what the show may be like. Also, Vanessa Beecroft, who’s worked with West in the past will be on hand with a performance.
The
invite’s center logo features a slanted “Y” in a muted marigold,
vermilion, and chocolate brown, which may be a hint that West will still
explore neutral monochromes in his upcoming collection. In addition,
one of the photos by documentary photographer Paul Lowe, which was taken during the Rwandan genocide in 1995 also features.
More
updates about the grand opening will surface momentarily (More info
about tickets and additional viewing locations will be posted at
Tickets.KanyeWest.com.)
